Can non-specialists perform complex nucleic acid-based tests in the field? What is required to make this possible, even for those trained in the art? And is real-time screening of any value? In this talk I will share my experiences screening for infectious organisms in the field and at point-of-care while working in a variety of environments to address different end user challenges.”
